There is an old saying, “speak for your soul, write for your soul”. In order to make a better handwrting, a calligraphy class is started in Group One by Chinese group, which is warmly welcomed by students.
There is once every two weeks. The teachers will teach by explaining and practising. To start with, the teacher will explain writing method of Chinese character by setting eaamples. In order to motivate their interest, the teachers will use modern technology such as multimedia to make their lessons more interesting. The students will improve their handwriting by coping.
After three-weeks’ practice, most students show interest in Chinese character writing. They improve a lot not only in writing gestures but also in writing methods.
